Baosteel has announced its list prices of flat products for December. The company keeps the prices unchanged on hot rolled coil, pickled HRC and coated steel products, but offers discount around RMB 30~RMB100/ton.
However, the requirement for discounts is to complete effective contract before validity date.
The Chinese steel market seems to rebound in November better than its performance in October, especially in flat products and building material such as rebar.
Some market insiders believe Baosteel still looks for blooming steel market for next first quarter.
The company adopts the conditioned discounts to enhance its sales performance.
